ENGlobal has developed a new power generation system to supply power to remote oil and gas fields, pipelines and other industrial applications. ENGlobal Power Islands consist of micro turbine generator units, fuel processing equipment, electrical distribution equipment and controls to generate electric power.　

ENGlobal Power Islands are completely factory built, tested and certified to generate between 30kW and 400kW of electric power from a single master skid. With additional slave skids tied to the master skid, the electrical generation capacity jumps to 6 MW. Fuels include a wide range of hydrocarbon gas and liquid fuels, from well head gas to distillate fuel oil.

Completely installed, the standard ENGlobal power Island is approximately 12 feet wide and forty feet long, rising 13 feet from the base of the skid. Custom solutions are also available.

Installation requires no foundation, only a graded surface covered with stone or crushed rock. Exhaust emissions are significantly lower than comparable combustion based generators allowing the Power Island to easily meet or beat local stack emission limitations. Equipment for emission controls can also be furnished as required.
