Government and Regulatory Affairs

Never before has more emphasis been placed on how, why and where a proposed capital project will affect those directly impacted and the public at large. ENGlobal has extensive resources to call upon, in both the regulatory and legislative arenas. These well founded relationships permit us to competently represent the merits and messages of a proposal to governmental and quasi-governmental bodies, including all levels of government - municipal, district, county, state and federal. Decades of project management experience, excellence in stakeholder relations, and setting the standard in governmental and regulatory affairs all uniquely qualify ENGlobal to lead this process during the pre-project phase and throughout the life of a project.

Our legislative affairs satellite office in Washington, D.C. plays a vital role in obtaining support from legislators whose constituents and communities will be impacted by clients’ projects. We represent our clients’ objectives clearly and convincingly, and have the access necessary to make things happen.

On the regulatory side, ENGlobal has gained the respect of agencies around the country for our diligence and professionalism. We have earned a reputation for quality and have set the standard for compliance and “how to treat the affected public." In addition to published industry textbooks and industry courses developed by ENGlobal Land Services, we also conducted in early 2003 an industry study on behalf of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA). The purpose of the study was to define for what the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) considered to be “best practices” in the interface with and treatment of capital project stakeholders.

With this “integrated” approach we offer our clients an outlook with a 360-degree view.
