Program Management

For clients that have multiple projects being executed simultaneously within ENGlobal, we offer our Senior Project Managers in the role of Program Manager. Multiple Projects are organized under a “Program." Depending upon the size of the projects, there may be individual project managers assigned to each. The Program Manager’s function is to manage the entire group of projects and to make certain that all projects proceed along the same specifications and procedures. The Program Manager also ensures that not only the clients’ requirements met, but that ENGlobal’s methodologies and project expectations are met and/or exceeded. As with an individual Project, the overall program utilizes the same skill sets for project execution, project progress, and project cost control and scheduling.

Project Cost Control & Scheduling
 

Application of ENGlobal’s company wide cost control procedures assure the completion of each project within budget. Our procedures have two principle objectives:

To control costs in such a manner that they are kept within the budget and time limits of the client
approved appropriation.
To analyze, forecast and report cost information in a manner which presents a current and concise picture of project costs to the client and to our operating and corporate management.

Our project control system provides an integrated comprehensive plan against which progress and productivity are measured and evaluated. The objective of this procedure is to define the general methods used in the development of summary level and detail schedules, and supporting control documents. The schedule, along with ENGlobal’s internal system, provides a control mechanism whereby potential problems are identified in advance to permit timely management decisions and to prevent any impact to project completion and cost.
