Chief Executive Officer

Mark Hess

Mark Hess has served as Chief Executive Officer of ENG Corporation since January 2021. Prior to that, Mr. Hess has served in various positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, interim Chief Financial Officer from June 2012 to September 2012, and Corporate Controller from July 2011 until June 2012. Mr. Hess assumed the Corporate Secretary responsibilities in December 2017.

Prior to joining ENG, Mr. Hess served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Geokinetics, Inc., a publicly traded seismic data service company, from April 2008 to April 2010. From November 2004 to April 2008, he served as Director of Finance for CGGVeritas, a publicly traded seismic data service company. In total, he has over 35 years of experience in various accounting, merger and acquisition, and finance roles, primarily in public companies.

Mr. Hess is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston. He is an active member of Financial Executives International (FEI).

Mark Hess

Mark Hess has served as Chief Executive Officer of ENGlobal Corporation since January 2021. Oil & Gas

Doug Fieldgate

Doug Fieldgate is Senior Vice President, Oil & Gas for ENG. He is responsible for Upstream, Midstream and Downstream activities covering all aspects of EPFc, including offices in Tulsa, Denver, and fabrication facilities in Henderson, TX.

Mr. Fieldgate has more than 29 years of extensive experience in engineering, construction, fabrication and operations. With experience in upstream, midstream, and downstream industry, Mr. Fieldgate has served the energy sector globally, in key roles. 

Prior to joining ENG, Doug was Vice President of Process Technologies, with CAM Integrated Solutions, where he was responsible for growing manufacturing and fabrication business lines.

Mr. Fieldgate also served as Senior Vice President for AECOM Oil and Gas, during which, he was responsible for engineering, self-performed construction, fabrication, operations and maintenance activities. This included both union and non-union oversight of onshore activities in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors.

Doug’s international experience includes Harkand Group, where he served as General Manager, overseeing subsea construction, diving, IRM, and ROV-related installation projects. His responsibilities included all operations relating to offshore projects and JV companies operating in Mozambique, South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Congo, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Nigeria. Additionally, Doug has served as Business Development Director, West Africa, for AMEC Foster Wheeler Americas. He was responsible for West African Operations, In-Country Project Management, and Business Development. During this time, Doug directed efforts developing major capital projects with greenfield and brownfield scope, including EPC, maintenance, and multiple brownfield offshore projects.

Mr. Coskey founded ENG in 1985 and has served in various positions, including service as Chairman of the Board since June 2005 and as President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2012.

From April 2007 until May 2010, he served as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, he served as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President from 1985 until 2001, Chief Operating Officer from 2001 to 2003, and President from 2001 to June 2005. Mr. Coskey, an honors graduate, received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1975 and is a Registered Professional Engineer.

He served on the Texas A&M University Electrical Engineering Department Advisory Council from 1999 to 2014, and from 2006 until 2014, he served as Chairman of the Council. Mr. Coskey received the 2014 Outstanding Alumni Honor Award from the Texas A&M University College of Engineering. In 2014, Mr. Coskey was also appointed to the Texas A&M College of Engineering Advisory Council.

Mr. Coskey founded ENGlobal in 1985 and has served in various positions, including service as Chairman of the Board since June 2005 and as President and Chief Executive Officer since August 2012.

From April 2007 until May 2010, he served as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, he served as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President from 1985 until 2001, Chief Operating Officer from 2001 to 2003, and President from 2001 to June 2005. Mr. Coskey, an honors graduate, received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1975 and is a Registered Professional Engineer.

He served on the Texas A&M University Electrical Engineering Department Advisory Council from 1999 to 2014, and from 2006 until 2014, he served as Chairman of the Council. Mr. Coskey received the 2014 Outstanding Alumni Honor Award from the Texas A&M University College of Engineering. Christopher D. Sorrells has served as a member of ENG Board since August 2021. Currently, Mr. Sorrells is Managing Director of Pearl Energy Investments, a $1.2 billion private equity fund focused on the energy and sustainability industries, and Chief Executive Officer and a director of each of Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: SV) and Spring Valley Acquisition Corporation II. Prior to Spring Valley, he was Interim CEO of Wellsite Fishing & Rentals Services, LLCs, an oilfield services company focused on the Marcellus region.

From August 2015 to September 2019, he was a member of the Board of Directors and the Chief Operating Officer of GSE Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: GVP), a publicly traded engineering and expert staffing company for the power and process industries. From 2005 to 2015, he served as Managing Director at NGP Energy Technology Partners, L.P., a private equity firm investing in companies that provide products and services to the energy, power, and environmental industries.

From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Sorrells worked at Clarity Partners, L.P. a private equity firm, focused on growth and LBO transactions. Mr. Sorrells served as a principal with

Lloyd Kirchner is a board member at ENG and Vice President of Zachry Group. Since 2014, Lloyd has held various executive positions in Engineering, Business Development, Safety and Quality at Zachry Group.

Formerly, Lloyd served as President and CEO of Commonwealth Engineering and Construction, where he also held executive positions in Operations, Sales, Marketing and Commercial Management.  Lloyd joined Zachry Group through the acquisition of Commonwealth.  Prior to Commonwealth, he was a founding employee of Capstone Turbine Corporation and held various executive positions in Engineering, Supply Management, Manufacturing and Product Development.  Lloyd started his career with Amoco Corporation working in all three business units:  Exploration & Production, Refining and Chemicals.

Lloyd received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.  He currently serves as a Board Member for the Post Oak School in Houston, the Baylor College of Medicine and Mercury Chamber Orchestra.

Mr. Palma has served as a Director of the Company since June 2016, and is a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees.

Mr. Palma served as the Chief Financial Officer of B-29 Investments, LP, an energy private equity firm, from 2006 until he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in December 2018, and also served as the Chief Financial Officer of B-29 Family Holdings, LLC, a family office, since its inception in 2014 until December 2018. In his role within the private equity space, Mr. Palma focuses on investment strategy, investment execution, and portfolio company management for both privately-held and publicly-traded companies.

Mr. Palma currently serves on several private company boards, including Silver Creek Oil and Gas, LLC, Caliber Completion Services, LLC, and Klear Bit Technologies, LLC. His past experiences on private company boards include Crest Pumping Technologies, LLC and TEC Holdings, LLC (which was recently rebranded as AXIS Energy Services, LLC).

Mr. Palma is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas, and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School in addition to a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas.
